The Boss Baby’s eventual affirmation of sibling bonding and familial love makes all its toddler toilet humor a bit more bearable.
Plugged In
Rolling Stone
An animated feature starring a newborn with an oh-so-familiar voice may confuse the kiddies, but grown-ups should get a kick out of it.
The NYTimes
instead of taking us deeper into a child’s reality the way “Inside Out” did, “The Boss Baby” is at once overly busy and oddly detached from a child’s reality.
Some more critics reviews
Variety
The Boss Baby is generic animated fare, but it’s bolstered by a unique visual flair and important lessons for children in the audience.
Screen Rant
The Boss Baby has interesting visual textures, a few good jokes and Baldwin has fun. But these elements never transcend an odd premise that fails to deliver big laughs or emotional heft.
Times of India
This is a weird movie. It’s hard to describe if this is even an actual movie or a prank played on the audience. This as a perfectly bizarre thing made by stoners for stoners with a joke for a plot.
